Back To School-2021/2022 School Year

Guiding Tips for Teachers/Instructors and Students/Pupils as we prepare for Resumption

It’s another season of tension and perplexity both on the part of teachers and students. While the teachers start working on their class curriculum and schedules, the students prepare for the resumption of classes from Monday to Friday intense learning and school tasks like assignments, class activities, exams, etc.

First Day in School

Most teachers start by asking the students to introduce themselves and how their holiday period was spent. It is a time for pupils to meet and interact with friends in their classes and schools respectively. New students are not left out, in most cases you find them sitting alone and observing.

I prefer to call it “the observing stage” because it is a time for them to understand and adapt to the new environment. Saying “Hello or Hi” to your classmates won’t really be a bad idea! Yes, the first day in school is usually the time when teachers talk about what students should expect throughout the term or academic year.

Here are few tips for a fantastic school year:

Ø Adjust bedtime and wake-up schedule.

Ø Eat healthy breakfasts.

Ø Try your best

Ø Use good work habits, like writing down your assignments and turning in your homework on time.

Ø Take your time with school work. If you don’t understand something, ask the teacher.
